This little doll rocking chair is made for a special little doll-Delwyn. Delwyn’s owner loves all things fall and wanted an autumn inspired chair. Note the fall leaves on the trees, the acorns, a small squirrel and lots of leaves along the ground of the scene on the seat of the chair. The tree also has an owl hiding in it’s branches.
Delwyn’s owner also loves Winnie the Pooh-who doesn’t love that cuddly bear?! So, I incorporated Pooh Bear into the scene and put a bee hive hanging from the tree as well. A bird also flies across the scene toward the tree.
The chair has the leaf/acorn/pooh pattern along the edge of the seat and on the runners of the rocker.
The custom cushion for the chair shows the same scene that is on the seat of the chair with the tree’s leaves done in orange, red, and yellow silk ribbon. Delwyn’s name is done in a dotted wrapped stitch in a dark brown. The cushion is held to the chair with chocolate brown velvet ribbon ties.

Oh, I loved making these special blocks! The blocks colors were picked to coordinate with Hampton’s room colors, theme, and bedding-a light sand, ivory, white, dark brown, light blue, and the goldish yellow. Hampton’s name is spelled out on the blocks in the “kindergarten way”-with the H being capital and the rest of the letters being lower case. The whole alphabet is represented on these blocks, each letter showing the upper as well as the lower case letter. There are several special items on Hampton’s blocks-a garbage truck-one of his favorite toys, a pie-for his silly lovie nick name “Hammie Pie”! The animals are picked because Hampton has the “Itzazoo” bedding and he has lots of animals on his bedding and in his room!
The animal squares and other pictures also have the item’s name written in appropriate letters (upper case or lower case where they should be!). These blocks even have numbers with the correct amount of dots coordinating with each number-up to 12.

Oh, look at this little sweetie with her birdie mobile! I love it! Hadley’s mommy got this gorgeous bedding from Serena and Lily-the Lola pattern-and wanted a pretty mobile to go with it. The center of the mobile is a flower in the same design as the flowers on the bedding, it has lots of hand embroidered accents, chenille puffballs and mini puffballs adorning it. The mobile has little birdies hanging down that coordinate with the bedding as well. Each hand made birdie has embroidered accents on it’s body, wings and head. Both the birdies and the flower of the mobile are made up of several different fabrics to coordinate with Hadley’s bedding.

This castle canopy is certainly fit for a princess-or a little prince! The canopy comes with 10 birdies that can be positioned wherever you would like them-on or off of the canopy, 4 braided closures (one for each panel), a mommy birdie with 4 eggs in her nest and a nest with 3 baby birdie hatchlings waiting to be fed!
The canopy’s castle measures approximately 3ftX3ft and the panels hang down approximately 7&1/2 feet from the 14 inch high castle. The castle and canopy are made of a beautiful tarragon cotton broadcloth, with windows and scrollwork quilted onto the castle portion. The castle is edged in a braiding made of the same fabric. The panels can be closed or held open with the braided closures, however you desire!
I envision this type of canopy above a little girl or guys bed-giving it a four poster look! Add to this look by having me hand embroidery your child’s monogram into the scrollwork!
Check back for more pics on this fun project as this one was for Missy Kettler of Missy K Photography located in Naples, Florida. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with with all of the little prince and princesses she takes photos of!

I love being able to see little Hampton and baby Hadley enjoying their fun Coffey Creations! Thank you mommy Adrea so much for sharing your photos with me!
If you look really closely you can see Hampton’s quilt draped over the corner of the bed with a camel showing! Similar to the camel on his piano! He also has an awesome wall hanging behind the head of his bed that goes with his bedding. This little piano was made to coordinate with Hampton’s room colors and bedding, but it also includes his ABC’s and lots more animals for him to find and have fun with! To see Hampton’s mini piano in more detail click here.
Hadley’s dollhouse/bookcase is full of lots of fun things to find as well. There are lots of fun scenes from several classic children’s stories. I am imagining the fun mommy Adrea will have reading these stories to little Hadley and then showing her the scenes in her own dollhouse! Hadley’s dollhouse/bookcase also has a replica of her very own nursery in the top left room. The replica includes her crib, bedding, photos in frames on the walls, her special Coffey Creations tree and animal playset, her birdie on a branch shelving, and lots more! To see all of the rooms in more detail, or to see if you can locate all of the special scenes in Hadley’s doll house, click here. The scenes are from the following children’s stories: Where the Wild Things Are, Madeline in Paris, Lyle Lyle Crocodile, The Princess and the Pea, Eloise in Paris, and Red Riding Hood.

I bought this “runner” from Lowes. It’s actually a 3 ft piece of their indoor/outdoor carpet that comes in 12 ft lengths. It was only about 12$! I had decided that I was going to make a hopscotch/game mat out of it with the ABC’s and as many numbers as I could fit on it. After I had sectioned off the squares and drew in the numbers (kind of making “bubble” letters and numbers that I intended to color in) I thought to myself…”Hmmm….I bet my guys would love to color these in themselves!” And, they have! I also wanted to add animals or items in each square for each of the letters-for A, an apple and an alligator, for D, a dog and David wrote his name in the square, for L, a lion and Leonard wrote his name in that square (backwards!), and so on.
This has turned out to be a great “rainy day” project and the boys have loved coming up with ideas for what to put in the squares, all while enjoying pointing out the letters and numbers that they are coloring in as they go. I’m already imagining the fun we’ll have playing games on it-making them up as we go!
For more extensive directions e-mail me at shannon@coffeycreationsforkids.com . Or would you like your own custom made runner? A gift for a mom with no time on her hands? I can draw all the animals/letters and numbers for you and the child can color them in-or I can do that as well. You can pick your theme and colors or let me do it for you. Also, check out my Etsy shop!
This dollhouse/bookcase for Hadley was so much fun to paint! The top left bedroom is a replica of her actual nursery-I also included the dollhouse! Several of the rooms have paintings from classic children’s story books-can you find them? From Little Red Riding Hood, the Princess and the Pea, Where the Wild Things Are, and many others! What fun it was to create each room and add the little nick knacks. Hadley’s room theme is pinks and greens with little birdies, you can see those themes repeated throughout the entire doll house. The chandelier in the bathroom even has little birdies on it! Look out the hand painted windows in the house-do you spy any birds? Squirrels? Don’t forget to check out the address (plus 1/2), too!
I can imagine the fun baby Hadley will have exploring this dollhouse as she grows!
Check out the replica of baby Hadley’s actual room-from her hand made wooden tree playset, birdie on a branch shelving, custom birth canvas, to her sweet birdie mobile, and lots more! Click on this link to view her custom items, then click on the one that you want to view!

This little mini piano is a true gem. The sound of the keys remind me of church bells-they just sound wonderful! It is a Jaymar toy piano made probably in the 1950′s. I sanded, primed and painted this piano a soft sand/khaki color and a cream/off white to coordinate with Hampton’s room colors. Hampton has Itsazoo bedding so all different types of animals fit perfectly with his room theme! You may note the little blond haired blue eyed girl and boy riding atop the elephant? That’s Hampton and his little sister! Hampton is three now so learning the alphabet is right around the corner-what a fun way to do it and explore all of the animals on his piano as well.
From P’s and Peacocks, to E’s, Eagles and Elephants, this mini piano is hand painted with lots of fun things to find. Have fun Hampton!
