This soft pink basket has a basket liner made especially for Lyla! The interior of the liner is a soft pink chenille, the outer portion of the liner is a soft white muslin and has Lyla’s name hand embroidered in a french knots. The pink chenille is attached to the white muslin with a white galloon lace-to coordinate with Lyla’s bedding and all of her fun things! The liner is trimmed in mini white puff balls, and the side ties are white satin ribbon criss-crossed around pink chenille covered buttons and tied in a pretty bow. This Easter basket liner is made of two layers of different shades of green pill resistant fleece-no fake messy grass needed here! The bottom inside of the liner is a grass green, the outer rim portion is also a grass green with an overlay of a sage green that is folded under and attached by french knot accents. The white outer portion has Sam’s name done in a wrapped back stitch, and a little bunny done in browns in a combination of straight stitches, back stitches and a few french knots. This tree has lots of “hidden” shelves for books, toys, stuffed animals, whatever little Sam wants to put in it! It also has a “burrow hole” at the base of the trunk for a bunnny-or in this case Pooh Bear, and another hole midway up the trunk-where there’s an owl peeking out! Some of the shelves are parallel to the floor, others are slightly skewed with edging at the end to help stack all of those board books of miscellaneous sizes. There are also several “cuphooks” to hang fun things from the branches-like the birdhouse! This tree was sketched by hand, cut, sanded and hand painted just for little Sam. The tree is painted varying shades of brown with some ivory and light moss greens to emulate moss growing on the branches, there are even a few “broken limb” spots. This painting was done especially for Sam for his 2nd birthday! If you look closely you can see the “S” on the first frog, the “a” on the second frog, and the “m” on the third frog. These frogs were done based on the book Tuesday, by David Wiesner .

For all of you Sandra Boynton fans-this is a must have! Your very own mini hippo with his own “Bee-Bo”! He also has the little wagon shown in the Belly Button book. This little wagon has little Aldo’s name on the back hand embroidered in triple french knots in bright green, yellow and orange. The hippo also has hand embroidered accents-the eyes, nose and belly button are worked in french knots, back stitches and straight stitches. The hippo and his wagon are made of a soft fleece for cuddling and washability. Have a great 1st birthday Aldo!

These hand made personalized basket liners both have super soft cuddle fleece interiors that coordinate with the outer portion of the liner. The little girl’s is done in a fun pattern of lime green and white, and Abigail’s name is done in a fun font with french knots. The side ties of the green basket are made of the same material as the outer green of the liner, and the bottom of the front is trimmed with teeny little white balls. The little boy’s basket is made of soft blues and whites, the interior of his basket is a soft blue and white stripey cuddle material and the exterior is made of a white cotton with his name (Ryan) done in coordinating blue french knots. The side ties of Ryan’s basket are white satin ribbons and his basket is also trimmed with tiny white balls. Both baskets contain a mini accordion album personalized for each child to memorialize the baby’s first Easter. They contain spaces for photos, written memories from mommy and daddy, and even a footprint place (with watercolor paper, sponge brush, and coordinating paint). This canvas is for a family of three boys who are each named after a President. How cool is that?! And according to MY three boys, “Mr. Hugus is the best!” Mr. Hugus is the shchool gym teacher and has an enthusiasm for kids and fun that cannot be beat. From games like Toilet Tag and the Jump Rope contests, he inspires us all and instills in our children that exercise can be fun! He and his wife just added another little guy-Lincoln to their family this fall. This canvas includes all of the Hugus boys’ names and birth information, incorporated into a modified Presidential Seal. This Presidential seal shows off our past presidents and the boys’ namesakes; Lincoln, Carter, and Jackson. Thanks again so much for all you do Mr. Hugus! The personalized keepsake box is made to hold all of those precious little things from baby Lyla’s Christening. The outside lid of the box gives Lyla’s full name and the date of the Christening, and is framed in the same beautiful champagne silk as the mini blanket inside of it. The interior lid has a small puffy pocket with an “L” for Lyla embroidered on it’s center, the pocket can hold small treasures and hold them securely due to the white satin ribbon closure. The middle of the lid holds an accordion album all set for mommy and daddy to add photos and hand written memories of Lyla’s special day and is alto held in place by a white satin ribbon tie. The accordion album is personalized with Lyla’s full name, christening information and has titles on each page for mommy and daddy to record special guests who attend her Christening, gifts that she receives, information about the minister, the church, her godparents and even the Christening party-with plenty of room for favorite photos. The right side of the interior lid has a mini memory board made of the champagne silk (showing off it’s shiny satiny side) and white satin ribbons on the diagonal. The ribbons are held in place with champagne colored french knots. This mini memory board is the perfect size for small cards, photos or little mementos of Lyla’s special day. The bottom part of the box is filled with a soft cushiony champagne padding-oh, the luxury! The left side of the bottom of the box holds an invitation to Lyla’s Christening and will hold other special cards received. The Christening invitation is held in place by a champagne colored ribbon. The middle of the bottom of the box has two more champagne ribbons-for other small items that Lyla may receive such as a silver rattle or fork and spoon. The right side of the bottom portion of the box holds the special mini blanket made especially for Lyla.
This mini blanket is made of a light shantung silk-the front is the slightly nubby textured side and the back is the satiny smooth side. The champagne color is intended to coordinate with baby Lyla’s great grandmother’s christening gown. The mini blanket has Lyla’s monogram embroidered in a stem stitch in the center of the blanket. A stem stitch frames the outer edges of the blanket and the interior of the framing shows off a multitude of flowers done in varying shades of champagne-from ivory, light brown, a khaki and even a slight pink champagne. The flowers are worked using the lazy daisy stitch, french knots, back stitches, wrapped back stitches, stem stitches, among other hand crafted embroidery stitches.
