These personalized bibs for baby Ella coordinate with the colors and theme of her room. Pretty pink flowers hang from a mobile in her crib and fun fairies hang from the ceiling in her room! The white bib has Ella’s monogram done in a wrapped dotted straight stitch in a soft green. Underneath the monogram are three pretty pink roses with a slightly darker green leaf pattern. The roses are done in a silk ribbon wrapped stitch around regular embroidery floss of the same color. The back of the white bib is a soft pink. The soft pink bib has baby Ella’s first name done in a stem stitch in a pure white silk ribbon. Under Ella’s name is a little fairy holding a flower over her head. The fairy and flower are worked in a combination of straight stitches, french knots, and split stitches. For your own personalized Coffey creation e-mail me at shannon@coffeycreationsforkids.com !
This baby gift set includes three hand made personalized baby bibs, a coordinating box, notecard and original canvas.
The canvas was done to match baby Emerson’s pink and brown bedding from Restoration Hardware. Baby Emerson has a soft pink and brown elephant mobile in her crib and that’s what inspired this canvas! In the canvas a mommy and baby elephant are holding trunks as they are give each other a flower. The elephants stand on a field of flowers that has the baby’s birth information “hidden” in it. The canvas is done in rich browns and many shades of pink to coordinate with the baby’s room.
Three bibs are done in stripes, dots, and a soft pink and all have personalized hand embroidered stitching. These fabrics were picked to coordinate with the baby’s bedding and room colors also. The multi colored dotted bib has “Emerson” hand embroidered in a wrapped back stitch, the striped fabric has the letter “E” done in a multitude of french knots, and the soft pink bib has baby Emerson’s monogram done in a stem stitch.
The coordinating box makes use of soft pink and brown card stock with hand embroidered dark brown french knots on the warm pink card stock for added flair. The fun font (Gigi on MS Word) shows off Emerson’s full name on the keepsake box.
Emerson’s monogrammed personalized note card is done with a soft pink satin ribbon wrapped in a stripey effect on dark brown card stock. Emerson’s monogram is done in a warm brown and set on start white card stock in the card’s center.
The fun thing about all of these baby items is that they are useful (fancy bibs-can’t the bib be just as sweet as the dress?!), and can serve more than one purpose (the box makes a beautiful gift presentation and then can be displayed in the baby’s room and used to keep all those precious little keepsakes in!), and the card with the givers best wishes presents another wall art opportunity (or scrapbook addition!). The fact that the baby’s birth information is slightly “hidden” allows for the growth of the baby into a child who will still love that she has personalized artwork with her name on it-but doesn’t feel that it’s too “babyish” because the baby information is not too obvious.

All the fun Orange Kitty items were made from an orange and white striped repurposed men’s shirt! What fun it was turning one men’s shirt into so many girly little items!! My personal favorite, though are the bloomers! Girly bloomers with fun springtime blooms to match the fun dresses! The blooms are made of the orange and white striped shirting material and the stamens are hand embroidered orange and blue (to match the little Polo insignia) french knots, the green stems are done in a stem stitch and the little leaves are done in backstitches. The little ruffly dress shows off the original “Polo” insignia and is approximately a 6-12 month size. It has elastic on the shoulder ruffly straps, the back of the dress and under the arms. The halter dress has a ribbon that can be tied at the back of the neck or on one side or the other in the front (or back for that matter)-the halter used as a dress will fit sizes approximately 12-18 months or as a halter swing top from sizes 2-3T. The back of the halter dress shows off the original buttons of the men’s shirt, and the back of the dress is a bit longer than the front of the dress due to the nature of the Halter dress itself. The orange kitty has hand embroidered eyes, nose and mouth. The matching bib also has hand embroidery accents and velcro dots to allow for a growing little girl! The two coordinating hair bands are both made of elastic bands for stretch and comfort. This collection is one of a kind as I do not use patterns to make my childrens clothing.
Sorry-the ruffly dress, bloomers, and orange and white headband have sold! The remaining items-the halter dress, orange kitty, bib and remaining headband can be purchased for 55$. I love this little outfit! It reminds me of the times of Kings and Queens. The pants are made of a sage velvet with an elastic waist band. The shirt is made of an ivory cotton on the sleeves and sides, with a sage velvet inset right in front. The ivory sleeves have hand embroidered accents of a tawny light brown chain stitch at the shoulders and at the cuffs. The ivory part of the bodice has more chain stitching around the top and the bottom, the sage part has pin tucking at the top neck line and a wrapped back stitch in ivory at the hemline. The shoulders, the back middle, and under the arms of the shirt have elastic gatherings for a snug fit and to allow room for growth. This little peasant style blouse and pants outfit was inspired by a little princess named Gwendolyn-how fitting is that?! This adorable little monkey is sporting a soft flannel cozy pj pant with a coordinating hand made appliqued shirt. The applique is in the style of Curious George-and he is checking out a bumblebee! Hand embroidery in backstitches and straight stitches give extra detail to this curious little monkey. I refashioned this small women’s turtleneck (green!) for an adorable 4 year old and paired it with a sweet pair of pants with floral embroidery to coordinate (not green!). The pants are made with an elastic waistband for easy on and off and all seams are finished using a serger. The flowers on the pants are worked using a lazy daisy stitch and french knot stamens, the viney pattern is made using a modified stem stitch. The coordinating fun springy hat is also hand embroidered with a similar floral pattern using soft turquoise, sage green, coral and light tawny brown coordinating colors. These sweet baby boy bibs were made especially for new baby Jacob! Khaki and cream with a touch of pale blue are the colors in his nursery- what beautiful color combinations! One khaki bib has a baby Jaguar and “Jacob” on it, the other khaki bib has the baby’s monogram on it, and the light blue bib has the baby’s first name and first initial. The Jaguar is hand embroidered using a combination of straight stitches, back stitches, split stitches and french knots, “Jacob” on this bib is done in an ivory backstitch. The khaki bib with the baby’s monogram is done in white french knots, and the light blue bib has the baby’s first name and first initial in a wrapped backstitch of white and khaki for a stripey effect. These fun New Year’s Hats were made of scraps of wool felt and fabric. The “Happy New Year” was written on in Elmer’s glue and then glitter was shaken on. The noisemakers are recycled cans spiced up with beads, scrapbooking paper, ribbon, chenille balls, small round mirrors, faux jewels, buttons, ribbon, and recycled thread spools, all put together with a hot glue gun. The key is to have the can opener that detaches the lid from the can completely-the lid and the can are also left dull (not razor sharp!) when using this type of can opener. Put beads, beans, rice or whatever you want inside the cans, then hot glue the top right back on! Or, hot glue another can inside the first one for a variety of fun looks! These noisemakers were a hit-I also used some elmers glue and glitter to put the child’s first initial on their very own noisemaker. Not the crafty type? Or you’d like a special gift for a new mom? Who doesn’t love ladybugs?! And “Ladybug Girl”! I saw this book and just loved it-a little girl out to prove that she is not too little. The knee socks each have a hand made ladybug with embroidery detailing, a little hair clip to match, and of course a hand painted personalized box to store everything in! Oh, I’m already thinking of how much fun it would be to make a ladybug tutu, shirt (LBG on it, of course), lady bug wings, how about a fun stuffed dog named Bingo like LBG’s?! Too many fun things to do and not enough time! A mom told me how much she loved knee socks for her daughter instead of tights-easier up and down for pottying and they don’t sag (myself having three boys, I had no idea…). Thanks mom (Debbie)! Hope Samantha loves her lady bug fun stuff! Email me at shannon@coffeycreationsforkids.com for your own custom kids creations!
